Charge-m8 Achieves OZEV Installer Approval

Charge-m8 Achieves OZEV Installer Approval

Charge-m8 are delighted to announce that they have successfully achieved OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) Installer Approval for both the EVHS (Homecharge) and WCS (Workplace Charge) Grant schemes.

"Achieving OZEV Installer Approval is a milestone for the company" says Iain Hughes, Chief Technical Officer of Charge-m8. He continued "as we build up to launching our EV Charger installation service, having OZEV approval for both home and workplace installations is an extremely important part of our strategy".

Even though the UK government is expecting 85% of EV charging to take place at home, Charge-m8 are seeing increased demand for affordable workplace charging installations. "We are launching our new Delta charger soon" says Julian Smith, CEO of Charge-m8, "it's particulary suited to workplace installations, with it's colour touchscreen, OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) interface, and multiple smart connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet (RJ45) and 4G Cellular".

"With 7kw Single Phase and 22KW Three Phase models available, both with built-in Earth Pen Fault Protection, it really is a charger for all seasons" said Iain Hughes, CTO at Charge-m8.
